but the 650 just sucks. it's a great idea with the buggiest software i have ever used. it crashes 10 times more then any device i've ever used. no operating system windows or mac is as buggy. i've installed wiped out and reinstalled the software 6 times. i agree with the dude at maccentral. i'm going blackberry

I have heard about it getting ruined by simply dropping it. I must have spoken with like 5 people in the last 6 months who had to send their in for repair because it stopped working.

that is the one problem i havent had. i've dropped it hundreds of times and it keeps on ticking

Well thats promising. Think the Treo 700 will be much better?

is not in the hardware, so i'm not convinced that a new model will solve the problem. the palm platform was written for something else and seems to be very balky when you add the phone email part. i never had a single crash with my tungsten c.
so you've got windows mobile (everyone hates it), blackberry read:

and symbian(which i know very little about although i did have a sony ericsson p900 that was ok)

The Treo 700w comes with Windows Mobile which I don't think is THAT bad. Symbian is big in Europe but not here in the states as much. for compatibility, I think you are stuck with Windows.

if you read the link i think the answer is blackberry it's completely compatible (now mac also) and never ever crashes
