Wow, sounds like Blu-Ray might be the LAST thinkg Sony adds to the PS3.

They make it very clear that the PS3 is not twice as fast as the Xbox 360 like Sony would have you believe. For me, it was never really about speed, but more about having a large software library on the new game systems - and I bet Sony will beat Microsoft there, hell they better because there are only a few good games for the 360 right now.

My last question is this: do you really think they had a real hands-on with the PS3? It seems like they could be faking it IMO.

Yeah I read this, and I have to say that I could have BSed jsut as good of a story. Oh Killzone is not real gameplay? Really? Cuz when they showed the clip, nothing was playing on it, and I assume a miracle happened.

Then again, there are dev units out there, but I doubt anything in any semblance of the final plastics. I have to say, though, that I was expecting significantly better speed. Who knows? Everything is speculation. I think the only good piece of info was that Sony is going to have booths at the TGS. We'll see then.
