Hi guys, im not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but i wanna start a security system with a webcam, and i have no idea where to start, so basically if anyone know whats going on or had done it, help me out. oh and is there any way that it send the date to like a data base or something. im a manager in a coffee shop and i want to have a security camera in the loby but want it to be really simple, just a webcam. thx guys :thumb

i have one but if i need to get something differet im sure it be fine! the main thing is i want it to be simple and i can get it on some kinda data base or something.

For like $300 bucks you can get a few (I think three) cams and a reciver base-station that will do all the recording from Costco. It outputs to any screen via a vid comp cable. If you want to do it all pc-based you'll end up spending a good deal of cash if you want mulit-angles / focus points then you get to hack all the software and multi cams together to work, it's easier to just go buy a security system from Costco or whatever.
