Since they are advertising with us, I thought I would pick up a pair. Here are my thoughts:
Pros:
- Very comfortable to wear
- The highs are pretty crisp
- Adaquate bass
- They give you a carrying case
- Lighweight
- Can be directional sounding depending on what is playing
Cons:
- Sound stage seems distanced a lot of the time
- No in-line volume control
- The construction feels cheaply made sometimes
- For the price you can get a lot better headphones
I don't have a lot of experience with headphones like Brandon so I couldn't really compare these to anything.
This is testing it on a PC with high-quality integrated sound ;) actually its supposed to be a good chip on the Dell XPS. I am going to test these with my Cowon X5 and a PC with a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS soundcard.

It is very comfortable for wearing long long time. I love them but I think they are over price. I can get a PX100 for 50 bucks and their performance are basically the same.
Anyway, it's a BOSE.. :cheers

No highs, no lows. Must be Bose! I thought they sounded a little too flat, and I've heard some complaints that the construction isn't too solid (break easily). But, whatever makes you happy :)

I just got mine and I'm an echo of neuroking, I think it's all mids, the lows are simply phoney sounding and the highs are muddy. However they don't sound like Bose to me, poping in Beethoven, Symphony No5 in C minor, andante con moto, the one track I know something made by Bose will just sound perfect playing I get nadda emotion from the headphones. So playing around with other genres where Bose really does not do well, techno is flat, rock is flat, jazz, hey! Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk and Nina Simone all are presented in a glory worthly of $135.
I really like the weight, these do not sound like lightweight headphones and they don't pinch my eye glasses and make my ears hurt like other products in this category. If I commutied via bus/train and wanted a pair of lightweight headphones for a MP3 player I'd really think about these for that use. However I'll keep my Sennheiser HD595's for real music listening.

Bose is kinda targetted toward the middle aged. Good-ish build quality, not too funky looking but modern, trusted name, and a sound signature that is right in line with natural hearing loss. That's right folks! When you hit 50, everything will sound like the TriPorts! Yet another reason to hate aging, in case you needed another.

Well I have had more time to play with mine and I am pretty dissapointed. I would probably give them a 7/10 maybe. I know there are worse out there, what really ruins these are the price. If they were like $50 dollars that would help.

maybe it's my ears becoming used to the sound of these phones but damn me if the (old (pre paul's btuq)) Beastie Boys don't sound perfect in these phones. Not just their hiphop but Beastie Boys pre hiphop, the punk band.
