I'm trying to conect my Gamecube to my Emachine T6522 Media Center PC.(2.2ghtz 1gig of ram ATI Radeon xpress 200 intergated graphics) I have the AV cable in the cube hooked to a AV to S-video converter which is pluged into the S-video In on my ATI 550 Pro theater card. I'm also using Dscaler, yet when I turn on the gamecube and then turn on Dscaler it either stops responding and end tasks itself when I try to tell it to use ATI AV capture software or tells me it has no input. Help, what am I doing wrong?

Sounds like copy protection or something is kicking in. Ever consider buying one of that cheap video adapters from like Lik Sang? Those work pretty well.

That's where I got the idea of conecting my cube to my PC and from what I could gather from reading it I have all the parts to do so, Cube, cube's AV cable, S-video to AV adapter, S-video in TV tuner card(it says AV in on the card itself yet has a S-video plugin so I call it S-video) and Dscaler. Yet it dosn't work as I outlined above.

Hmm well I am out of suggestions, somewhere something is not working right. My guess is that the TV tuner card is having trouble with the Dscaler.

Maybe try connecting a DVD player using this method first to see if that works. If it does, then something in the Gamecube could be the problem.
