Most of your log looks ok. One entry here looks a little strange,
C:\Documents and Settings\Kate\My Documents\IEXPLORE.exe.EXE
Usually there is only one .exe at the end of the file. This one has two.
It may be ok or It could be a worm or something. If it is the Icon should look different than the original icon which is blue e and has a ring around it. If the file looks normal dont remove it. If its a different color than blue its probably bad and is probably safe to remove. (Right Click then click delete)
If you are unsure leave it alone and describe it to me........Jim

The iexplorer.exe.exe turned out to be ok. Thank you.
Here is a new logfile. When I open the explorer (home page is google) it stutters when it used to be quick.

I see 4 IEXPLORERS. there should only be one. I see you have Ewido Security Suite, run it and post its logs, it may tell me more.........Jim
Run Ewido Security suite
Run Ewido:
Click on scanner
Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will begin.
NOTE: During some scans with ewido it is finding cases of false positives.
You will need to step through the process of cleaning files one-by-one.
If ewido detects a file you KNOW to be legitimate, select none as the action.
DO NOT select "Perform action on all infections"
If you are unsure of any entry found select none for now.
When the scan is finished, click the Save report button at the bottom of the screen.
Save the report to your desktop
Close Ewido
Post a new HijackThis log along with the Ewido log you saved.........Jim
