I know of a RAID 1 daughter card that has an EIDE input and 2 EIDE outputs that make two hard drives identical...Is there a daughter card that does the same EIDE input to EIDE output but in RAID 0? I want to trick a motherboard into thinking there is only one HDD where there are actually two, thus taking up only one EIDE channel. Has anyone heard of this, or is it just a dream?

Daughter card? Can you linke to one of these? I've never heard of one of these kind of cards unless you are referring to a normal RAID controller card. But those don't have IDE inputs.

DD3-EZBKB5 (http://arcoide.com/miva/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=ADPS&Product_Code=DD3-EZBKB5&Category_Code=EZ_FAMILY)
This is what I'm looking for but in a RAID1 configuration. I understand that it's definitely not the way to go with RAID, but I am constrained by the motherboard's inadequacies. It has only 2 EIDE channels one of which is a DVD, and there are no PCI slots on the board. See my dilemma?

Doesn't each IDE channel support two devices (master and slave)? What motherboard is it?

In this case, yes, but there is only one IDE connector, and it is attached to a CD-ROM and a HDD (Master/Slave setup). It is the XBOX Motherboard that I'm trying this on. I know...why mess with it? Just because I like the challenge. A friend of mine wanted the XBOX Xtender, but when I told him that he could only boot from and use one HDD at a time, he challenged my to find out some way to fix the problem. So here I am trying to trick the XBOX Motherboard into thinking it has only one HDD when in fact it has 2 on the same IDE Channel via a RAID0 Daughtercard. Maybe I can change the DD3-EZBKB5 to be a RAID0 card instead of a RAID1?

That's a very intesting project you have going.

Have you tried contacting the company to see if they have a product that will allow for RAID0?
