JVC LAUNCHES SPECIAL ARSENAL LINE OF PRODUCTS EXCLUSIVELY FOR INDEPENDENT CAR STEREO SPECIALTY DEALERS

Las Vegas, NV CES January 8-11, 2002
To meet the needs of independent and custom car audio and audio-video specialists, JVC today announced the Arsenal line of mobile entertainment products. Targeted to the active 18 to 29 year old male using the high-end independent dealer, the Arsenal Line carries the attitude of JVC's lifestyle marketing campaign to the retail floor.

Tom Caronia, Vice President of JVC’s Mobile Entertainment Division states, “our independent 12 volt dealers, regional A/V dealers catering to a certain high tech customer who require audio and audio/video systems in cars, recreational vehicles, boats and want products with special features that match their lifestyle, along with custom installations facilities. That is why all products in the Arsenal line include top of the line technology, a wealth of features, and a two year warranty.”

“Arsenal focuses on power, being on the edge and the performance requirements of today’s active male, who wants to live hard and loud,” says Chad Vogelsong, National Product and Marketing Manager of JVC Mobile Entertainment. “JVC will support the Arsenal line at retail by promoting a number of alternative and heavy metal tours in 2002, along with a special two-CD set of live and/or unreleased performances from acts that JVC has relationships with.”

There’s something for everyone in the Arsenal line including the 3DLH – KDLH2000, Digifine2.2 - KDSH909, the ElKameleon – KDLX333, KD-SX8250, KD-S7250, and KD-S6250 CD Receivers, and the exclusive JVC Signature Series Amplifiers.

The Digifine 2.2 adds class and quality to the car with its sleek, stylish design and a stunning aluminum finish. Digifine is fully compatible with MP3, CD-R, and CD-RW and formats and includes built in DVD/VCP control to enhance the functionality of the road theatre for multi-source rear-seat entertainment. The full dot-matrix display can show more text and display finer graphics than ever, and more lively animations. The use of more LEDs for the backlight makes the LCD brighter and improves the visibility of displayed names or characters.

Digifine 2.2 features seven-band iEQ and 50Wx4 MOS FET dynamic pure power. The 1-bit DAC provides a format for higher resolution and lower distortion from CD’s. To add to the excitement, you can control all of this with the clever card-type wireless remote control.

In its fourth generation, the ElKameleon is as close to perfection as ever. The new model, KD-LX333 offers 200 watts of power guaranteed to excite the senses and leave users fully satisfied. Both feature a flash rotary encoder multi-control, making it even easier to adjust sound levels, programming and other functions. As always, the ElKameleon boasts a smart anti-theft design that turns the headunit totally invisible, blending it into the car’s dash. With the versatility and ease of use, the ElKameleon allows users to make their mobile entertainment system an extension of their lifestyle.

JVC has added three high-grade series CD receivers: the KS-SX8250, KD-S7250, and the KD-S6250 to be sold in specialist stores. Easier to use than ever, this year’s CD receivers combine style with function. These systems offer enhanced performance, features and control options for optimum enjoyment. They come equipped with a wireless remote control and a detachable control panel and carrying case so users can take them anywhere they go.

JVC introduces signature series amps this year with the Dynamic Optimum High-power Circuit (DOHC KS-AX6750, KSAX6550, KSAX6350) Nikki Sixx series and the Super Optimum High-power Circuit (KS-AX4750, KSAX4550) Shaun Palmer series. Both share many high-performance features including 4ch/5 way specifications, built-in variable input level control and bass boost control that allows users to compile their personal sound preferences.
