The case has FISHIES. Oh, and I might get rid of the PhysX card, save ~$300 till some games that use it come out.

looks pretty nice, but i'd definitely wait on the physx card. i noticed you got a floppy and a normal dvd rom drive? any particular reason?

I make a lot of direct copies, thus the two drives, and I think using a CD for a single .doc file (for instance) is a waste, and I do shti like that all the time.

But yea, the PhysX card is out.. until Cellfactor comes out

i would wait for the Back to school sales, at end of summer, prices should drop at LEAST 10-20%...
THEN near the end of year with 2 NEW chipsets coming, even better priceing..

I don't want to take a big ole steamy dump on your parade, cuz it is a very nice system, but I would wait 2 months. The Mermon/Conroe processors by Intel are coming out in July, and they're looking really good (in terms of speed, heat, and wattage). The current AMD line is on its way out with AM2 replacing the current offering sometime within th enext 3 months. Plus, remember that the physics card is supposed to go in an 8x + slot, so if you want to do SLI, you will have to do it with one of those fancy two cards in one 16x slot options, which run around $750. This is teh biggest problem with the physics cards right now - it negates the whole traditional SLI one-card-per-16x-slot idea.

I'm dying to put together a new comp, but I am waiting specifically for Intel to release this line of CPUs, and I would advise the same. I think they will be socket 775, so you could put together a system now and swap the CPU, but if you really want to go AMD, it should drive the prices down (not to mention the AM2 will be out by then).

I'd be buying this stuff at the end of the summer anyways, so I'm counting on a price drop (both from the AM2... not an Intel fan, and from 'back to school' sales)
