Convert .avi to .vob?

Which is the fastest and best way to convert avi movies to vob that i can watch on my DVD player?

There is NO FAST way...
and SOME may loose the sync on the sound track, or require you to do LOTS of work to keep it IN sync.
Why not just do MP2 format?? It should run.. If you have a GOOD player, maybe MP4 will work also..

Or you could encode them into DivX and play them on a Divx capable DVD player.
