Just connected my G4 Cube to my BRAND new LT-240. I now have to get rid of my DVD player. There really is something to the HTPC!

Does anyone have any suggestions for USB or Firewire based products to watch TV through the MAC? Don't care about burning DVDs or even PVRs, but upconverting or scaling is what I am looking for.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think there is such thing as an Apple HTPC user right?? I mean you cannot even modify the Apple computers enough to make one. An HTPC is when you make a computer for your hometheater, not when you play DVD's on your computer....

If it is possible to do this to an Apple computer, please enlighten me because I would really like to see!

I have a formac, and it's horrible. They nickel and dime you for upgrades, and the video quality leaves much to be desired. I don't have an EyeTV, but everyone that I know who watches TV through their computer uses it, and loves it. I think it's pretty pricey, though. Whatever you do, don't get a formac. They're crap.....unless you want to buy mine, in which case, they're awesome. :)
