Hello,

I have a problem with playing videos. Doesn't matter if it's quicktime, winamp, or windows media player the following occurs when I try to open any video:

Extreme Slowdow. This seems to be caused by several instances of dumprep.exe hogging resources.

I don't even use video much except for a few of my guitar tutorials, so I'm unsure how or why this happened. I'm providing a hijackthis log below for you to look over, but I'm not sure there's much of anything there...

Any thoughts as to the log's cleanliness or what would cause multiple instances of dumprep.exe when trying to open a video?

Thank you for your time, I appreciate the work you fellas do.

As far as I can see your log looks good, Your problem may not be related to Spyware. But for future problems make sure your Copy of HijackThis are in a Permanant folder.

1. Please go to you're 'My Documents' folder, right-click and select 'New > Folder' then name the folder 'HJT'.

2. Copy and paste HijackThis.exe to the new folder.

Post over in the Software section of this website for your problem, Maybe they can help you over there.........Jim
