Hey guys,

Just curious of any if you all are PHP developers, and using Zend Studio on a Intel Mac?

I have both an Intel and PPC Mac running OS X 10.4.7, Zend Studio 5.1.

Studio runs fine on both. Studio Server installs OK on both, but the ZendStudioServer.so apache module on the Intel fails to load. From what I've read it's PPC only (which is somewhat strange it wouldnt run even w/ rosetta, but I'm not an expert with them...)

Needless to say this sucks pretty bad, since Studio Server is used for debugging.

So, here are some questions:
1) are there any comparible IDEs for PHP that has phpdocument, debugging, PHP manual, syntax highlighting, code completetion, etc like Zend does?
2) Requirement: it must be compatible with SVN
3) Anyone got any news on when Zend might support the Intel Macs? There are a couple posts on the Zend forums, and it's all hearsay with someone saying Zend told them they would never support Intel macs to another saying something soon would be out.

One word of note: Zend Studio 5.2 has been released, but it doesnt show up on any of the automatic update checks through the software. It uses Zend Platform instead of Studio Server, which sucks because:
a) it still doesnt support Intel Mac OS X
b) you only get a 30 day license for Zend Platform, where with your normal purchase of Zend Studio, Zend Studio Server is free
c) 5.2 only works with Platform

Way to go Zend :brick W00t!

PS, anyone well experienced with PHP and have some free time, give me a holla through a PM

I think there is a programming sub-forum under the software section, you might get more action there.
