internet Explorer 6.0 images show little colored boxes? Help?

some of the images and some web pages are giving me a little colored bx in the corner.
How do I fix this

Ah this means that the images are being blocked. In IE, try going to Tools>Internet Options> Advanced and click on the "restore defaults" button. That should hopefully help it.

Do you have Zone alarm or any other software Firewall installed on your system?

reset the ie tools thing, checked all software, can't find anything.

Are you running any software firewall programs? What software is running down in your taskbar?

running only Avg antivirus,msn messenger (not often signed in) and my dial-up accelerator. If I don't use the accelerator I still have the same problem.

I would try going to Windows Update and seeing if there is an update for IE that you might need. Are you sure its just Norton Antivirus? Or is it a complete Norton software package with anti-spam/spyware/firewall etc?

Have the newest ie6 and I don't use Norton, don't like it.

Silly me, I found the problem, It was in my accelerator. There were 2 places for settings. I didnt see the second one. Must have ticked the flash box upon setup or it defaults that one.
