Looks like Windows Vista will run $239, Vista Business will be $299, Vista Premium is also $239 and Vista Ultimate will run $399 according to Amazons website.

I wish they'd offer an "ultimate" version of XP (XP Pro with MCE.)

As for Vista, I'm definitely going to take the wait and see attitude with it. Not just because I want them to work out some of the inevetible bugs and security issues but because I'm worried there might be some unadvertised "features" related to DRM and other copyright matters that I don't want to mess with.

Well I will probably wait a year or two just for the sake of my hardware, since I will probably need to upgrade my system to get it at the speed I am happy with.
