I remember when that happened. He caught a lot of crap for it. I remember at the time thinking he was an idiot. I don't know if it was planned or an improptu thing but it definitely wasn't smart. I think he just got carried away.

Judging from everything I've read he was a devoted father. He just showed poor judgement.

I guess you could say that again. Probably put more faith into gods creatures than he should have. In any event, he will be missed.
