ARM on September 6 announced that Samsung Electronics has licensed ARM Jazelle software technology for deployment in the Samsung BD-P1000 Blu-ray Disc (BD) player.

I have heard that the startup times on the new Blu-ray players are super slow, and even worse on HD-DVD players, so hopefully this will help. Has anyone logged how long it takes to startup the new Blu-ray player? I have heard the Toshiba HD-DVD players take almost a minute.
