I was looking around for a new Digital Cams's at radioshack and walmart today :P , because they were so close together we i live. I will probably scope out circut city and best buy this week. Neither of the places i checked out had any cameras turned on for testing. I know that the places i went to were not specilaize retailers, but i have a limited budget. I saw these which were on the cheap end Sanmsung S500 (http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2289584&cp)
Kodak easyshare (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5155972)
Canon A530 (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4698943)
The cheapest one Kodak easyshare C530 (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4722904) What is bad about this particular one? I know ther eis a major difference between ccd lense and the Cmod.
. Any other reasonable options out there?

What type of a budget do you have? I just bought a Panasonic FX7 for my wife and i to use and we love it: http://designtechnica.shopping.com/xPC-Panasonic_Lumix_DMC_FX7

5MP and its super tiny. One thing that usually irks me is when a camera's flash takes way too long to recharge, well the FX7 lets you take one picture after another without any waiting.

Abes of Maine is a good place to buy from.
