Have you seen the DirecTV ads with the old mean dude Marv (if not: www.heybuttercup.com )? I want him over on Sundays instead of my prissy brother-in-law. The ol’ lady thinks he needs to get out more, that means I get to watch football with a freakin’ idiot who brings carrot sticks and wears a sweater around his shoulders. Not gay, just rich, dumb, and doesn’t know crap about the game. Anyway, question: Who would you watch the game with if you had your choice? Me: Marv, or alone
I'd want to watch it with my buddies Ioman, Luis, my brothers, Ioman's brothers, etc. As long as they know how to fun I'm down.

That's cool, nice to have some real buddies to watch with. All my buddies are on the east coast and I'm on the west coast. We're all in a fantasy league together though. I ordered sunday ticket and superfan. Didn't realize that I couldn't get the games in HD without superfan. Worth it, though. If anyone has superfan, do you know how they work the audio for the 8 games on 1 screen? Is it silent, or a mix, or what?

I have superfan, and it pwns! The way the 8 in 1 works is that you have a cursor you can scroll through the games with and whichever one is highlighted is the one you hear. I would also watch football with Marv, love that old dude, been watching that new directv campaign and happy about that I got superfan for free when I bought my HD stuff from them. Did you get it? you know you have to have sunday ticket too, right?

Cool thanks for the answer. I didn't know I had to get sunday ticket too. That's a lot of money. But still I think I will, because it can't possibly add up to what I'm spending at sports bars to see the games in HD. Football in HD is so good. I didn't buy it yet though... maybe for next weekend. So what's with the redzone thing, do they have something on that channel even if no teams are in the endzone? What if two are at once?

Uh, you could probably find out on the main directv website, but the redzone channel is like having a guru who knows where everything is work the remote, basically. They just cut to whatever game is the most exciting, and then they'll say things like "now we're taking you over to the bears/seahawks". I think if two teams are there at once they'll just cut to whichever is the most exciting/popular, and if no one is they'd just show whatever game is the closest.
have you tried getting over-the-air hd games?
