Who likes YouTube?!

I can get lost in YouTube sometimes, but I really have no idea. I guess it's kinda like looking for pr0n, you search through a bunch of crap just trying to find something decent.

That's what youtube is like for me.. so many stupid videos, even ones rated high. but you keep watching trying to find ones that are actually interesting.

who here likes youtube? Why? have you found any good vids? Maybe we can start a thread with good youtube videos!

I like it, But i'm not one who goes through each one to check them out, I usually just check out the ones that others post. Most of them are pretty good.........Jim

What are some of the current ones you like?

This one is pretty cool. I really like the sidewalk art like this. I've seen photos before of a guy in europe that did similiar side walk art that totally played with your eyes.

I like YouTube. It should be banned from the office, I think I spend too much time farting around on it.

The categories seem poorly done, its hard to find things sometime.

The concept of YouTube is pretty cool. I've only gone to the actual website and searched around a couple of times. Like Nightowl, I usually end up there by following a link either e-mailed to me or posted elsewhere on the 'net (like the one in this thread.)

Yea I get links through email or by reading message boards. I never tried just searching the site, Maybe I'll try that sometime when I have some time.

I heard that YouTubes bandwidth costs are like $1 million per month; thats crazy. I wonder how they are going to make money if 90% of their content is copyrighted?

lol you do know there is like a pornotube or something like that dedicated to just porn? I've heard about it and took like 2 seconds to google it and i found it, you should go try it..but i was on the site for a second and imo theres waii too much gay porn covering the whole screen so...i pressed the [x] at the top right of my screen :x

Yeah, I've seen lots of pictures of that guy's stuff before. That video's kind of dissappointing since it's just a collage of still shots that I've seen floating around. I would actually like to see moving video of his stuff to see how it looks from various angles as if you were actually there. Obviously the still pictures are taken from the perfect angle to make it look 3-D.

I agree. It would be cool to see his work from different angles in a video. I have seen photos of his work from different angles, and it's amazing. From the right angle, they drawings look like the correct perspective. From a different angle they are extremely stretched (think 20+ feet)
