I currently have Nero and Cyberlink Power producer installed on my pc. When i use these programs to convert a divx file so it will play on a normal dvd player the dvd generally starts off ok but then it just starts pausing and the speech is out of sync.
Can anyone recommend anything that might help me out? I have so many films on divx format and want to put them on dvd so i can watch them on my home cinema downstairs. Thanks. :cheers

Ever thought about buying a DVD player that can play DivX movies on DVD? I am no expert but you cannot get DTS/Dolby Digital on a DivX movie correct? So when you convert it to the VOB DVD format, it still stays two channel?

Here is a great guide:http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm

Let me know if that helps!

ferritt,

how old is the version of cyberlink you are using? There are many programs out there now a days that will not only take a divx/wmv/mpeg4/etc and convert them, but also burn them all in one swoop.

I can't recommend any, but do a search on google for 'burn divx to dvd' and a bunch pop up
