After setting up my Home Theatre using the Avia DVD I am experiencing very loud bass in a few DVD's.
I recently played Lord of the Rings and the bass seemed twice as load as with most other movies. Same thing happened with Star Wars Attack of the Clones. I had to turn my amp way down.
I have dual SVS subs and a 1000 watt amp. On most movies the bass sounds great. I used the Avia DVD and a sound meter to set things up.
Do different movies record bass at different levels? Does anyone here have the same problem?
