I'm looking for ideas for speaker demo music.

I already have a fair amount of Norah Jones, and Diana Krall, but I'm just looking for more.

What does everyone tend to use to show off their stuff?

To demo off speakers I most likely would pop in a techno CD. Recently I have been using the Tranzworld 6 CD.

I like to bring a couple CD's in actually. I would pop in some acoustic music to see how the midranges are, and then maybe some Peter Gabriel to test the highs and the lows. I would recommend you bring in a couple of your favorite CD's from various genre's to try them out.

I'm pretty sure that you'd catch me putting in some Chemical Brothers or The Crystal Method.....though I'm listenin' to some Boom Boom Satellites now and it's soundin' good too. Dunno, demo speakers with the stuff you're gonna be listening to is what I'd say. Just my $0.02 :dunno

I agree with that as well. Went over to FYE a few times this weekend, and they had that cd ( I think it was mixed by the Warp Brothers) and I was jamming to it for the longest time. Good stuff :)
