Cannon PS SD230 "DarkOut"

I have the Cannon PS SD230, and just recently I tried to to the picture but I couldn't see anything through the lense instead dark out. Can any one help on this?

have you successfully taken pictures with it before? has anything happened since then, like dropping the camera?

Yes. Just few week ago my niece play with it but I don't think she dropped. Also, I just discovered last nice that my Cannon Camcorder it has the same problem. I couldn’t see any thing when I try to record. I bought both of them at the same time. This very coincident, isn't it?

how about to buy one new SD450, SD230 maybe too old :)
