Screen in Sony VAIO TR1A

Wondering if anybody knows which/whatscreen is used in the Sony VAIO PCG-TR1A?

I cracked mine and need to replace it...knowing who made it and what model might help.

ack, is it still under warranty? I have not heard of screens being sold as seperate OEM units. Any luck?

Nope, warranty is up...not only that, I dropped it, so not sure that it'd count. :)

Anyway, I took the thing apart and found the model info...

In mine, it's a Sharp LQ106K1LA01.

Now, since even a used one is now worth close to notebook (over $400), I decided that I'd pull the drive and put it in a little USB box. NOPE...it's a teeny little drive with no markings on it and it's got a female connector (opposite of everything else I've seen).

Any clue if an adapter exists so that I can fit it in one of those small 2.5" USB drive covers? I've searched the net but not found any since I don't even know the brand/model of the drive.
