View Full Version : CES 2007 Day 1
I had some meetings to run around to today with Ian, but here are some pics I took of some products I thought were pretty cool.
Look for videos from the film crew later tonight on either the CES 2007 page (http://ces.digitaltrends.com/2007/) or from the main video page (http://media.digitaltrends.com/).
I didnt get more information on this other than that it sends in 1080p and is only in development phase (these are prototypes.)
Wireless is becoming the theme of this CES from what i can tell, in terms of wireless media: wireless hdmi, highspeed wireless video from laptops and computers, from DVD players, etc.

This sytem, when a game is coded to take advantage of them, tried to make your gaming experience more realistic. There are fans that will blow a light breeze or large gusts, a rumbler for your chair, lights that shine on the wall and on top of the speakers (and they change color!) As you can see it won an Innovation Award.

Sony had this column with laptops attached to it. The coolest looking ones were these MyStyle laptops.

Sony's VGX-TP1 Media Center PC is one of the launch PCs for Vista.
It's unique form factor is interesting. I wasnt sure what I thought about it when seeing it in the slides during the keynote, but in person it looked great. It's smaller than what it looks here.

If anyone has questions let me know, or if you want me to hunt something out in particular. I might have some free time to walk around a bit tomorrow.
