Im not a real big Nokia fan. I've been watching their N-Gage for some time now, and a poll and gamespot brought it to my attention again.
This handheld-game phone thingy, I feel is rather useless to any/everyone. What happened to a cell phone being.. well, a cell phone?

check this demo out, I cant even find the phone! How are you supposed to carry this thing around with you? its dumb... Interesting idea, but dumb.

haha yeah, I was following this thing on and off as well. I'm not a big fan of Nokia products either, and I'm less of a fan of this product.
I just feel that if you want to play games and such, get a GBA :)
But I'm pretty sure that there will be a ton of people buying this though, just to have it...you know how that goes.

For some reason, if they sell this cheap enough I could see kids catching onto this. The fact that it plays games and MP3's mean kids will get into some serious trouble at school!:P
Actually, I like it. The cool thing about this phone is you can play games against other people with the same phone. This would work great for our company meetings I attend. :)

I think the MIC is down below the keypad. They don't really feature anyone actually using the device as a phone. I heard that this was already out, but that they had to wait until later this year in order so that developers could make or rewrite the games that are going to run on it.
I agree with all of you :D Fun at work, GBA better, aimed at teens and kids.

um useless?
i think not.
The n-gage is a great device, it runs the series 60 OS from nokia which is based on symbian.
i have a GBA and i never use it.. why? cos of its bulk and it can only play games. i actually play much more on my phone and my pocket pc than my dedicated games machine..
the n-gage also has bluetooth and mmc card support.
its a nokia 3650 without a camera and with games support, out-of-the-box-mp3 support, and radio instead.. Sega and a couple other makers are working on the games, 3d games too, not 2d games a la GBA. multiplayer games can be played via bluetooth so expensive gprs connections can be avoided
i really cant see how this thing can flop.
the only question now is how much?
