I think I killed my ipod

Ok, Well I accidently unconnected the little piece of plastic(I don't know what its called) that connects the logic board of the ipod to the control wheel. There's no way I can connect it back, is there anything I can do?

I doubt they will fix it since the seal is broken on the unit. How did you remove it (is it a plug?)

The other question is: why did you remove it?

i buried it and got a new one, so its all good. and to the last person that posted, it was an ipod mini and my battery died, i tried to replace the battery.
