"Lost" also handed ABC nearly 4 million more viewers in the time slot compared to last year, when short-lived drama "Invasion" aired, the network said.

But there's no question that "Lost," once riding big ratings, buzz and cachet, has lost significant ground.

Some fans and critics complain that the story has gotten confusing and unsatisfying. The show, named best drama at the 2005 Emmy Awards, was shut out at the 2006 ceremony.

I used to be a huge LOST fan, but lost interest after the show kept dragging on. They never made any progress, never answered my questions etc. I feel like they are milking it along.

Ya, I never got into Lost. I know there are a ton of theories about the island though, right?

I beg to differ, LOST isn't over yet.

There's still so much to see.

I just saw that they have a trailer for the new season out. Doesn't look to be canceled yet.

FROM WIKI..
In May 2007, it was announced that Lost would continue for its fourth, fifth, and sixth seasons, concluding with the 117th produced episode in May 2010. These three final seasons were planned to consist of 16 episodes each, running weekly in the spring uninterrupted by repeats.

Can you really call a 16 show a series? not me.
