I've got a Celly with Bluetooth tech and was thinking of getting a bluetooth card for my PC system, just wondering though what should I expect from the two of them? Can I download the cell phone? Store stuff on it? Etc etc, anybody have experiences with them? Is it easy to say Update my contact list? Or do I need some weird special software for such a thing?

if the phone has the capability, you can get software for it, for your PC. Are there BT PCI cards? I've seen USB > BT setups, but never an actual card..hmm....
And one again, it all depends on the phone. For instance, I can upload screensavers, pictures, ringers, numbers, appointments, etc... to my cell phone with a USB adapter (S105, no bluetooth ;) ).

What brand phone do you have? I think it depends on the phone.

Hum.. yes... I think their is a computer adapter instead of using blue tooth for downloading info. It's a Nokia 6310i.

Mkay.. I found my program for the celly, weird though that some of the blue tooth will work while say transfering an application to the cell won't work over blue tooth but only IR or some cable. What's the point of bluetooth if it doesn't do it all!!

bluetooth is more for inter-handheld-device communication... kinda silly.

Since you have posted this, I have purchased an Epox Bluetooth USB dongle for my leptop and desktop. I use this to sync my Sony t68i cell phone with Microsoft outlook. I would recommend getting a USB dongle for you. A PC card is a more permanent solution. The USB dongle will allow you to sync your phone on multiple machines. Just my .02 cents.
Depending on your phone, you should be able to sync your calender, contacts, tasks and possibly e-mail. I find this to be incredibly useful.

if you've a service with internet connectivity, you could use the bluetooth for using your phone as a modem for your laptop or pda.
