Hi! When I plug in my mp3 player or phone using a usb cable, my pc will detect the device that I plugged in. At the system tray there is the safely remove hardware icon. But nothing opens up on the screen, when I look at my computer or windows explorer, my removable device is not there. I can only see my usual drives but wasnt able to see my removable device drive anymore. I already checked device manager and there's no exclamation or question mark on USB controller. What seems to be the problem? Is it my usb drive or the motherboard/usb/windows driver? Do i need to install anything else? Please help!

Do these USB devices that your connecting have drivers?

There is a conflict, you will need to go to control panel>administrative tools>computer management and then under removable storage or disk management rename the drive letter of the MP3 player to something not currently in use (if two drives have the same letter, it will only show the first).

Hope that helps!
