Hi, Everyone... I have just found you.
Like many of you here, I have also had a not especially good experience of a company selling IT training - in this case, Computeach. I could go on and on about it, but previous experience suggests to me that you might all get a bit fed up. The basic plot though is that I gave them £5000 (Yes, I know - I'm an idiot!) because I assumed the added expense was an indication of how good they are. For my money, I have had a few books and some CD's and what they describe as training - I get tested on my knowledge, having to score 90% in the mock papers they provide (The A+ certification for real is about 60% to pass) before I can move on to the next stage. I could hit 88% no problem. And 70%, 82% etc. etc. I did the same paper 11 times before I finally found the right answers. I did the next paper a similar number of times. Then they told me I had run out of time and had to pay them more...
After a brief run of them not replying to my letters, we agreed an extension - they refused to refund me for the course I had not yet started. Trouble is, I'm now completely demotivated and looking at having to write off the money I spent.
So - I have started an e-petition. Hopefully, no-one will object to me posting the link to it:
