Sopranos Ending

Awkward. What did everyone think

It was building up so nicely till the lame ending.

I didn't really see it, but Entertainment Tonight showed the last minute and I have to admit it ended really really odd.

It was the entire episode that was lame. I thought the ending would be a bloodbath, but the last few minutes in the resturant kind of gave me the impression that the bloodbath would finally come and then the screen turns black. I guess leaving it up to the viewer to figure out what happened. But the final episode was mostly focused on AJ(Tonys screwed up kid) than on the possible mob hits which made the finale lousy.

I thought the whole family would be whacked after Meadow came in.

I have never watched this show. In fact, I've never really gotten into TV shows other than non-fiction, like history channel, TLC, etc. until recently with Heroes. So is the Sopranos THAT good?
