Pictures Question!

i had my lil cousins delete all the pics in my digital camera (kodak easy share V803 8.0 mp) well actually on my sandisk 4.0 gb HC so i used a program called Bad Copy Pro to retrieve all the pics but the problem is the folder with all the pics wont open and say no preview available does any one know what to do to get the pics out the files???

1. did they DELETE or FORMAT?
Format will kill ALL.
2. taken ANY pictures sence on that card?

they delete all and yeah i have but i have the folder on my computer with all the pics and data

the folders called recovered data and the size of the files are huge

Probably 5-8 meg each?? Thats correct.
My JPG saves on my Fuji save 3.5 meg pics...

yeah well they all vary but do u know of any way to retrieve the actual picture outta the data?

I have not used this program.
You have all the files? are they named?
Have you read all the instructions for the program and followed them?
IS the data stick STILL untouched, and useable?

DID you BUY the program or just the Evaluation??

Whats the file extention for these pics? .jpg, bitmap? or something else?

I am with Nightowl, you may just need to rename the extension to .JPG and then try opening them. At least thats where I think Nightowl is going with this!

That is possible,IF the program didnt do anything Funny with the data. but he mentioned at the top post he cant open the Folder...Which he may have mis-typed(I hope).
And I hope they didnt set a attribute key.

sorry i took so long to reply but ya i had a typo i can get in the folder i just cant open the files individually. But i had the real version not evaluation and there in jpeg format

1. Did you already REUSE the SD card?
2. If you used this program, why not ask them
3. there are programs for Fixing corrupted disk drives, that MIGHT work on the Original SD card, and would make it BACk with all the pics.
4. if you have the data, as above, you COULD rename the extension to the proper format..
5. dont worry just double click the picture IF its there. Dont worry about Preview.
