So, im no idiot, just to clarify. I know how to organise my music. BUT when something doesnt go my way I start worrying.

Ok: So I started creating folders on the K5 using the SAMSUNG Media studio. It worked great for albums of a certain artist. But when I tried to create a 'Random music' folder with all kinds of different music on, things didnt work so well.

It appeared to work just great on the software, but as soon as I turned on the K5, the music id ever so carefully put into this 'Random music' folder was everywhere. I went to the 'Albums' category and expected to see my 'Random music' folder. But instead, every single song was organised into its own album that it originally came from.

Is there a way to get round this? Surely there must! Please someone make my day....:cheers

I dont have this unit...
But can I ask if it made a PLAYLIST.
IF it did that, it stored ALL the music you wished, on the list...There isnt a problem.

Nope. I did check on playlist's on my player and it said something like 'No files exist'. Im totally stumped on this one. I mean, whats the point of being able to pre-sort your files using the SAMSUNG software, if your device takes it upon itself to organise the files anyway.(in the wrong order)

The only way around this that 'I' can see, it to manually change ALL the songs I want in one folder to one album name. That's gunna take a long long time. Please, if anyone knows of an easier way, tell me! :)

But IF you can paly, a Playlist'
ALl you have to do, is set the order and the DIR they are in, and the PLAYLISt will bounce around all it needs to.

IF you didnt SAVE a playlist,, MAKE another one, and ADD it to the device.
you should ALSO be able to make More then 1' list...NAME each a different name, to know WHAT will be played..
