Greetings,
I want to add a 3rd pair of speakers to this head unit and I thought I might be able to use the subwoofer output to do so. Would I need an amp to get enough of a signal to power a pair of 6x9 speakers? Any other suggestions on powering a 3rd pair would be appreciated. The factory unit only had 2 pair of speakers.
Thanks,
Steve

Hey Splaneto,

Your sub woofer outputs won't have enough power to drive your speakers, you would definitely need a power source of some kind. The best way to do it would be to find an amp you like, and hook it up accordingly. You can find them in all sizes, but since your only running additional speaker, I would find an inexpensive one that you could tap into your stereo's existing wiring.

Good luck

Appreciate the feedback. I thought that would be the case but I figured I would take a shot.]
