Help getting rid of program...

i un-installed PowerDVD 7.2 thru the "Add or Remove Programs" but it didnt get rid of any of the files.. all 140mb were left in the folder in "My Programs" but it wa no longer lited in the "Add or Remove Programs"...

so i tried to install version 7.3 anyways and as soon as it attempts to "uninstall previous version" the installer just closes down and doesnt do anything...

so i went into safe mode and deleted all the files that were in the folder in "My Programs" and tried installing 7.3 again but it still does the same thing where it attempts to "uninstall previous version" then the installer just closes down and doesnt do anything...

any ideas as too what i should do to beable to get it all off my comp?

YOU REALLY aint going to like this...
1. you should have tried the Uninstall that came with it...
2. to get rid of it, you MAY have to use a registry editor.
3. Contact POWER DVD...

i got extremely lucky i came across a program called Windows Installer Clean Up and it finds all the programs on your comp whether it's the remaining pieces or the whole thing and deletes it...
