xbox 360 live cam

hi everyone

I have had an xbox 360 for a few months now and thinking about getting the 360 live cam....I already have a USB Cam on my PC and was wondering whether this can be used on the 360? or have they been smart to this and made sure that you cannot use a normal webcam on the 360...

if its not possible to do then is it possible to use the live cam on a PC as then i will just sell my existing webcam

I looked around and it looks like you have to use the XBox camera for the XBox (like they require the official wifi adapter when you can get others for cheaper). As for using it on a PC, not sure.
