Strangely, I JUST, as in yesterday, got this drive, and it didn't come with a case :(. Not that it is a big deal, but there might be a couple version of this out there. Mine is USB 2.0, USB powered (2.5" size), 5400RPM, cost $150 (through B&H photo, I think), and came in that annoying plastic bubble packaging. Maybe they have a slightly updated version or something. I was actually thinking a carrying case should have been included, since it will probably be scratched after 2 days in my gadget bag.

I grabbed this one from the office to transfer some files and oddly enough it was not working when plugged directly into my PC. It worked and Windows found it when I plugged it into my monitor though. I guess my PC is too old and I needed a powered USB hub which my monitor (HP) has.
