S/PDIF on 185A5

I asked this same question on the Yahoo Group but nobody seems to know the answer there. Does anyone know how to make use of the S/PDIF audio interface on the 185A5? The tiny manual for the notebook says that feature is disabled, but I'd be surprised if the motherboard doesn't really have that capability, since it seems bizarre for the 185A5 and 200A5 to have different motherboards.

I'll ask the same question of vpr Matrix tech support, but since there seem to be a number of tinkerers on this forum, I figured I'd ask here, too.

I just ordered a 185A5 but managed to located a 200A5 at a store nearby, so I might get that instead (0r get them both!). I was looking earlier today on the VPR website and saw that the audio driver for the 185A5 says "200A5". Have you tried this driver? I was wondering if maybe it enabled the spdif audio capability. I, too, find it suprising that they used a different version of the motherboard.
