I watched Scott Steinberg (Yes, of Digital Trends) this morning on the Early Show, and he was showing off the new game Manhunt. Has anyone else played it? What did you think about it?

Here's a link to the story that aired today, it's the furthest video on the right.

yes,
This is the same thought I tell others...
As I walk thru the TOY section...
I want to SEE what they are playing with. If nothing ELSE, join them.

Yes, I can say that video games now are very violent but it only depends upon the person playing it whether they will follow the things that are done on the game. The parents are responsible for this.

I can remember when people thought Mortal Kombat was too violent. The games today make Mortal Kombat look sweet and innocent. The problem is that as soon as someone comes out with a game that gets labeled the most violent or shocking ever then someone else feels like they have to try and top it. To answer your question, yes I think they have gotten too violent. Why do people think something has to be gory and sick to be fun? I must be in the minority though because it's market driven...violence sells. If people would stop buying the ridiculously senseless violent games then companies would stop focusing on making their games shocking and spend more time focused gameplay.

A lot of videogames are violent, but some racing games are not violet. That is why all of my videogames are racing games.
