Although I have many files on my YP-T9J - music, voice recordings, photos, etc. - PCs have stopped recognizing the files. I've tried several different PCs and software programs, none will recognize the files, it's like they aren't there. I can see the files on the MP3 player screen, I can play them just fine, but I'm unable to organize, rename, delete, edit because no PC recognizes the files.
I called Samsung, they told me to download and install some firmware to fix the problem ... and the tech said she hoped I didn't mind losing all of the files on my player since, most likely, the fix (essentially reformatting my MP3 player) would erase all of my files, which is unacceptable. When I told the tech that, yes, I DID mind losing all of my files, she said to back them up onto my PC. Which I can't do because the PC won't recognize the files, meaning I can't back the files up onto my PC.
Any ideas how I can get a PC, any PC, to recognize my MP3 player files without reformatting my MP3 player and losing all of those files?
