"Perfect for your home or office, Sony's CMT-L7HD Micro System combines chic style with astounding sound. Featuring a Slot-in Vertical Loading CD Player (Visible) with CD-R/CD-RW Playback, a 2.5" Integrated Hard Disc Drive Unit (20 GB Storage), a Tuner with 20 FM + 10 AM Station Presets, and 50 Watts of Total (25W x 2) Power, this system offers exceptional listening versatility. Additional features include an Optical Input and Output, a PC Link (USB Connection), an S-Master Digital Amplifier, Auto Storage Mode, a Stand and Wall Hanging Kit, and a Remote Commander® Remote Control. Enhance your music enjoyment with the CMT-L7HD. "

I really think this is hip, but $999 is asking for it in my opinion. This would be perfect for the office or heck, even the living room if you wanted a nice sleek looking system.

Also, just out of curiosity, why would you want an integrated HDD in a unit this small? I could maybe see that in a larger system, but something this size? Looks like music is tranfered via USB, but the site does not say what spec the USB is....I hope for their sake its not 1.1.

If it is made by sony and deals with Audio, don't buy it. They have a bad ethical policy. Get a phillips instead.

20 gigs of MP3s is alot, but you'd never run out of space. Cool idea IMHO
