Hi guys, i just found out about this site and thought i might get some help here:)
I got my T10 yesterday and i have a hard time connecting it to my computer, here's what i did:

i charged the T10 while i installed the Samsung media studio that came with the product. After it's charged, i plugged T10 into the USB port of my computer, then it says found new hardware and a window poped up, it asked me to insert the disk(i'm guessing the one that came with the product?), there's 2 option down below, one's a recommended option, the other is advanced, i went with the recommended one and clicked next, and then it started searching for a MTP device, but couldn't find it, it said that it doesn't exist or something like that.
I clicked finish and then the computer says that my portable device is not gonna work properly.

I opened my Media Studio, and the PORTABLE option is gray, obviously it didn't recognize my T10.

I have no idea what the problem is, I'm not very good at computers, hopefully someone could help me out.

PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

I had the same problem.

Apparently the player is only designed to work for Windows XP home /pro edition or Vista?

My Pc runs with XP so I had to download Windows Media Player 11 and my T10 instantly popped up and was recognized.

=] Hope this helps for you as well as others.

Skip the windows install and use the add hardware in control panel. Select I'll select the device myself from the hardware list and then select Portable Device. Select Samsung and then Standard MTP Device and install. Should all then work real peachy.
I have had this problem quite a few times and this has worked every time.

The installation disk as far as I am aware does not contain any driver software, only the ripping application etc.
When you fire up windows with the device attached windows should find the device and try to install it. Cancel this as I have never got this to work. Go to control Panel and Add New Hardware, windows should find your device but tell windows you will locate the drivers yourself. when it brings up the list of devices you need to select standard MTP device and then istall this, Ignore the message about this might not be the best driver etc. Sorry if this is a bit sketchy but I cannot go through the exact procedure as I own an Archos device, but I have sorted this problem out a few times with the T10 player and am writing this from memory.

hey guys....this is just for your information...now i have replaced my t10 player to sony nwzs615f player. even after replacing i faced the same problem.

one of my ffriend said to me that he had the same problem and no matter what he did, he couldnt solve the problem, so he reinstalled the OS. I also followed him and i solved the problem too.
