A graduate student from SkillsTrain needs help!
In Feb 2006, I have signed up SkillsTrain on CIW website manager course, after a salesman talked me into for 2hours. The only reason that I made my decision go-ahead was the salesman promised me under writing that I would have a 25k job after the graduation. We both signed the “Money Back Guarantee Employment Program” Charter.
In Nov 2007, I completed all exams and obtained the CIW certificate. Then the following day I contact them to discuss the money back guarantee employment program, and my nightmare begun. Each time I rang them there was always an excuse to keep me waiting for weeks.
First, they claimed that they did not receive my CV and voucher. And I was told to wait for the second voucher sending to my house. The length of time was two months. After n+1 times phone call making complaints, they agreed me to send my CV straight away without the stupid voucher which needs to be signed by me.
Second, in Feb 2008 they have arranged a job agent to deal with my job hunting. The job agent is called Talent Web. And they seems to have same habits as SkillsTrain. Never get in touch with me. After two weeks waiting, I was told by one of these staff that I was dropped out, because they were no long have any relationship with SkillsTrain.
Came bake to SkillsTrain again… another 3 weeks waiting until now.
Finally, I have recently received a letter from them to settle me with another job agent which called CV centre. Strangely there is a “Candidate Data Disclaimer” enclosed which says:
I accept that SkillsTrain or “the CV Centre” make no representation, warranty or guarantee in relation to the acquisition of employment or a guaranteed final job as a result of the service offered under the terms and provisions of the arrangement…….
For the avoidance of doubt, any claims against SkillsTrain or “the CV Centre” are hereby waived in the event of any failure to obtain a suitable appointment……………
-------------------------------------------------------------------
No sign the form, no service will provide further.
Anyone has any idea what they really want to do? Force us to quit the “Money Back Guarantee Employment Program”.
I would like to beg them to give me my 2750pounds back which I am still paying the instalment 75pounds/month until 2009!!!
:soapbox :soapbox :soapbox
