Metroid Prime

Anyone get this game yet for the Gamecube? I just got it and it is amazing....its like a FPS adventure game where you can explore, figure puzzles out and fight. Tell me what you think if you try it.

Dude, Nintendo is running a promo, get Metroid free with the Gamecube, at $149 for the system this is a hell of a deal. Zelda just came out for the Gamecube and would be a good buy too.

It's so good I just sit and watch my roommate play it, and I'm totally satisfied with the gaming experience.

I am pretty earlier in the game. I just beat a behive type boss and got missle abilities. I still do not have the ability to roll into a ball yet. The graphics look amazing on my 55" Mitsubishi HDTV. The music is pretty earie as well.

...and ofcourse Zelda which I am going to purchase as soon as exams are over. Otherwise... no studying will get done!:D

How far did you get into Metroid Prime?

To be honest not that far... I havn't had time to play.

The last time I played I got to this one boss who kept disappearing and reappearing... I couldn't figure out how to defeat him.

He was shooting energy at me, and I am sure I would have gotten the Ice Beam after I beat him.

LOL Hey you made it further than me bro! I just beat the Boss with the wasps, where you get the first missle launcher. I am pathetic, I can't seem to gather the attention span to sit down and finish a dang game! :P

I have to be in the mood to play it and I find during the school year I am not.

First of all because I leave my Gamecube at home...

I almost picked up Zelda today but I am going to wait a little more... it's a shame there isn't more time to enjoy the finer things in life...video games.

I bought an adapter which will let me hook my GameCube up to my computer so I can play it in the office, but I haven't tried it out yet. I have absolutely no time with work and school. I am anxious to start playing it again though.
