His site must be down. I linked it to the Sony Ericsson website.
Resolution on the Communicam is up to VGA 640 x 480 and has 3 other lower resolution settings.

I also own the phone.. I haven't even noticed that it's hard to read in the sunlight, but that could just be because I'm in Seattle and it's winter and raining all the time. I am also somewhat baffled by the reception, 99.9% of the time it' s but sometimes it just seemingly randomly drops calls. One thing I like is that at times even though 1 of 4 bars is showing, the call still goes through fine with no distortion. I also agree with the author of the review, sound quality is excellent.
The menus are pretty slow, but I've gotten used to it. Once you learn where everything is, it's just a matter of pressing everything then waiting for th phone to catch up.
I LOVE the size. It's small enough to forget it's in your pocket.
One feature it has is automatic key lock after 25 seconds of inactivity. I leave this on because it's really easy to accidentally call someone if the keys aren't locked.
I got mine through Amazon.com w/ a T-Mobile plan for free after rebates. I think the special is still going on so now might be a good time to get one. 600 minutes for 40 isn't bad, I just wish nights were free--as it is, only weekends are, at least in the Pacific Northwest.
One thing to keep in mind is the the screen is only 256 colors, so photos of people will look kind of splotchy, but graphics look fine. Screensavers are animated gifs and simple to create.
There's also a built in ring tone editor that allows you to create tones that can control the phones lighting, vibrating and ring tone and length. Pretty cool if you ask me.
Over all, I really like it. It's a cool looking, very functional phone. The slow menus and pretty-good-not-great reception are not enough to make me regret 'buying' it in any way.

Welcome to the forums Marcus and thanks for the comments. I own the phone as well and so far I am exteremely happy with it. I bought the USB cable for synching and it doesn't work so well. I will get the serial and see if that helps things. Have you tried synching your phone with Outlook at all?

When I got it I sucessfully synced it with Outlook via the infrared port on my laptop. It worked without a hitch. That's the only time I've done it though--I have more contacts in Outlook than I need on the phone so I basically just put them all on there then deleted the ones I didn't want.
I don't have any experience w/ the USB or serial connections. I haven't had a chance to use the Bluetooth connection either.
If anyone's curious, it works great with the Psion Revo / Diamond Mako ( www.silverfish.cc/psion ). I synced it with it's "phone" app with no problems and am able to dial using the Psion.
I was kind of disappointed by the games selection... there are a lot of card games and a couple others, but so far none that are really that fun IMO. I guess it is after all just a phone :)
Thanks BTW for the welcome Cloud.

My laptop does not have inrared on it, so I either have to use the Bluetooth (via a USB adapter I will have to buy) or the serial cable. I bought the USB cable too and I am having some problems. My buddy thinks that maybe the USB cable is too fast for the phone and is thus having some hiccups. I will get the serial cable and give it a try as well.
Welcome to the forums Marcus! Look forward to chatting with ya as well.
