"The real disappointment of DCDDR solutions is the price! This board retails for almost twice as much as one based upon the Intel i845E/PE chipset (single channel), and offers a only a small performance increase. That said, if money is no object, there is a performance gain to be had, and so feel free to lighten your wallet!"

This is the board I was thinking about getting, but I am going to hold off until the Springdale chipset enters the market. If I had to buy now, this would be the board though.

Does anyone know an exact date when the new mainboards are going to be available in the shops?

I have not seen many of these boards available so Asus must not be selling a ton. Anyone here buy one to try out yet?
