Tell me this is not one of the coolest products out there. It looks like a regular table but when you push the button on the remote, a television comes out of it.

They make them for Plasma Televisions too.

wow, a little expensive for my tastes, but I'm sure that I'm not the market these things are aimed at.
they have been making these for years...
there are 2 types... Look at the top of the TV...
ONE is where the TV is the top middle of the table..
The other is where a piece flips OVER the top of the TV.
Same concern for both... What happens to the stuff on top of the Table? Do you want to clear it before you bring it up, or clean up the mess after?

I bet the plasma type are new to the market. I have heard / read / saw the other type before. It's nice to see that it is still out of all our leagues in terms of price. Maybe someday when we have our own fully wired_customized home we will just go ahead and build one of these. They can't be that difficult to rig up.
If you did buy one and it broke, I wonder who you would call, prolly easier just throw it away.
Another nice thing for the home would be that 42 (or something big) projectors in one display that can output a HD video image of massive dimensions. Might just be cheaper than building your own theatre. Well maybe, If I remember correctly those projectors and all the computers needed to run them were not cheap.

These are pretty cool. I saw one for a plasma that looked like a cedar chest at the foot of a bed. Press a button and it motors it right into position. You would need a true HD plasma to view it that close though (6-7'?) or you would probly get some nasty screen door effects from viewing it that close.

Actually I just found out this is the same company on concealed entertainment, they just changed their name. I love that figure 8 plasma one.
There is one problem with these.
REALLY.
As a table you want to put stuff on it, as a TV you cant.
Remember those monitor stands that had a keyboard pull out onder them. Its a neet idea until you put stuff on your desk, and find you cant pull out the keyboard, becasue of the crap on your desk. And if you are working on paper work and using that area, where do you put it when you use the computer?
How about the desk with a pass thru View of your Monitor. A glass over hole on the desk. Its quite nice until you use the desk and then want to use your comp.
Great ideas if you are a VERY tidy person, and have places for everything. But most computer fiends, have everything with in reach, and in Chronological layers. Archiologist will have a field day in the future digging up those computer desks we have.

I think you can still put stuff on top of the table. I saw one of these at a show one time and they had a large plant in a vase sitting on top and it didn't slow the unit down at all.
