View Full Version : ZEN screen malfunction

In amongst looking for keys and fumbling with food shopping, I somehow managed to drop my ZEN player from quite a height; my waist to the ground onto a metal grating. It still plays music fine but the screen has gone ga-ga; it almost imitates a broken screen although it is not actually scratched in any way. Basically I can't really see anything.
I've tried resetting it several times but it doesn't help :(
Is there any other solution?

You cracked the Bezel, along the side and released the Fluid inside.
You should contact ZEN, to see if it can be repaired..

Thanks for your reply. I'm finding the Creative website very poor and can't find a hotline/phone number to call. Is the best way to get in touch with them via email? At the moment I can't even get through to contact support email link - almost as if they don't want to hear any about any faults!

Aha that's the US site. I'm in the UK and the link didn't work for me earlier today.
However I eventually found an online warranty form which I filled out and Creative have replied allowing me to send my player to them for "inspection". So we shall see! But thanks for your help, all the same :)
